A unique souvenir of Venice, the “Tronchetto 33” vaporetto in its new version made with wood from the old “briccole” and reclaimed fabrics from the oldest Venetian weaving company, Rubelli, which will bring you back to Venice every time you look at it.
Material: oak from the briccola and reclaimed Rubelli fabric.

Tronchetto 33
Several steamers still in use today were built by Cantieri Navali De Poli, whose history is a milestone in Italian shipbuilding. Unfortunately, the company no longer exists, but on the island of Pellestrina, you can still find the floating dock that was acquired by ACTV, mainly to continue the proper maintenance of the steamers in use.
Many of the steamers you see, on the other hand, depart from the island of Tronchetto, where the ACTV headquarters is also located at number 33.

“Among the various silk manufacturers, there is a family-run business that – incredibly – has been in operation since the time of the Serenissima, continuing to produce silks and other fabrics, even using original 18th-century looms: it is Rubelli, which in 1781 was admitted to the Silk Merchants’ Guild with the shop ‘Insegna del Coraggio’ opened in Merceria, near San Marco Square, by Giovanni Paolo Rubelli.
The history of the Venetian manufactory easily blends the past – mixed with legend – with the present and future. And this makes Venice unique, as it draws from its ancient craftsmanship, far in time, yet is able to project itself into the future with the most advanced technology”.
