A Journey through Design and Sustainability

The first Pieces of Venice Gallery has come to life inside the historic Palazzina Scirocco by Pianca on the Island of San Servolo, Venice’s green island.

A symbolic place, suspended between history and nature, which today hosts our sustainable design pieces. This project is rooted in the recovery of Venice’s identity materials—wood, fabrics, glass—transformed into contemporary creations.

A Step Forward in Our Mission

This project represents a significant step in our mission to unite recovery and sustainability, made possible thanks to the synergy and close collaboration with Pianca, our precious companion on this journey.

The Vision of a Sustainable Gallery

The Pieces of Venice Gallery unfolds along the corridors of the two floors of Palazzina Scirocco, recently renovated with an approach aimed at preserving the past while looking toward the future.

Each object in our collection, positioned outside the rooms, is displayed on panels covered with reclaimed Rubelli fabrics and, for the most delicate pieces, protected by glass domes crafted by the historic furnace NasonMoretti.

This layout introduces the designer of each piece, represented inside the adjacent room, where a dedicated panel tells their story and connection with Venice.

Collaboration with Pianca and the Club of Enterprises

This project would not have been possible without the collaboration with Pianca, which contributed to the restoration of Palazzina Scirocco, and without the support of the San Servolo Enterprises Club, of which Pieces of Venice is a member.

Thanks to this synergy, we have managed to transform the corridors of this historic building into a true gallery of sustainable design, combining the value of recovery with innovation.

An Island of Culture and Regeneration

San Servolo, known as “the green-hearted island” of Venice, is a symbol of regeneration and sustainability.

From being the site of an ancient asylum to becoming a cultural and hospitality hub, this island has evolved into a meeting point for design and sustainable development projects.

The Pieces of Venice Gallery fits into this context, enhancing the island’s identity through the recovery and celebration of Venetian craftsmanship.

A Tribute to Venice and Its Soul

Every object displayed in the Pieces of Venice Gallery carries our story and our love for Venice.

This gallery is much more than a simple exhibition: it is a tribute to the lagoon city, a way to bring back its beauty and spirit—one piece at a time.

Visiting the Pieces of Venice Gallery in person is a unique experience: every corridor of Palazzina Scirocco becomes a small exhibition of design and memory, where the pieces tell stories of Venice made of water, wood, fabrics, and glass.

If, however, you don’t yet have the chance to visit us in Venice, you can still immerse yourself in this journey through our Virtual Gallery—a digital space that guides you room by room, allowing you to explore up close the details, materials, and creations on display.

The virtual gallery showcases all the objects you would also find in San Servolo: authentic, sustainable, and poetic pieces that belong to the complete Pieces of Venice collection.

And they are not just for admiring—each creation is also available for you to take home.

Explore our official online shop, discover the catalog, the stories, and the materials behind every piece, and let yourself be inspired by a gift that preserves an authentic fragment of Venice.
