Save Venice one piece at a time. Participate in cleaning up the city with us.<\/h1><\/div>

When the Pieces of Venice project first started in 2017, the feeling that triggered the start-up was the deep love that connected Luciano and Karin \u2013 the founding members \u2013 to Venice.<\/span><\/p>

Luciano Marson designed the first item, <\/span>Elica, <\/i><\/span>which kicked off this original collection and captivated the admiration and participation of a team of friends and designers that were later involved in the project as well. The mission was clear: to give back, return Beauty<\/strong><\/span> <\/i>through the design of new original souvenirs for Venice<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

Because Beauty perhaps won\u2019t save the world, but it can certainly help to live better!<\/span><\/p>

The project was immediately welcomed, appreciated, and understood by all. Only one year later, the Pieces of Venice collection can be found (on display and for sale) in some of the most beautiful places in the city<\/strong>, from the Musei Civici to the Fondaco dei Tedeschi and the Hotel Aman.<\/span><\/p>

In October 2019, the project was selected by the 2019 ADI Design Index<\/a> for the \u201cSocial Design\u201d category, and the 9th September 2020 won the<\/strong> XXVI Compasso d\u2019Oro Award<\/strong>, the highest honor in the field of Italian design.<\/span><\/p>

But how do you \u2018Save Venice one piece at a time\u2019?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n

Pieces of Venice wants to actively participate and do something truly tangible and substantial for the city, taking care of it and help foster its beauty by protecting and safeguarding it<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

This is how the collaboration with Masegni & Nizioleti<\/a> started, as it is an association that has been active in Venice since 2014 and that works together with numerous volunteers who participate in annual \u2018Cleaning Days\u2019 in the city.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

People from all over the world come and join residents, tourists, and students that participate in these \u2018Cleaning Days,\u2019 meeting up in Venice to make a real contribution and help clean and restore decorum to a piece of the city<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
