Mariapia Bellis

An Architect who earned her degree in Venice, she has lived and worked in Venice for 20 years. After she earned her degree, she worked for a few years for the Berengo Foundation, overseeing the exhibition displays and publications as well as the realisation of works in glass for a number of artists.

Large glass artworks by Pino Castagna were created and installed in Venice at the Palazzo Ducale and, permanently, in the administrative centre of the Veneto Region and at Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome. Other major artworks by artists such as Koen Vanmechelen, Fabrizio Plessi, Ernst Billgren and Shan Shan Sheng – among many others – have been exhibited in various museums in Europe and at the European Parliament in Brussels. Since 2000 she has been working as an Architect, together with Dario Frosi. The architecture firm FROSI ASSOCIATI, deals with architecture, interiors and gardens. These include both public and private commissions. One project was exhibited in the “La Tendenza” exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris and was subsequently purchased by the archive for architectural design.
